Help/FAQ
What is Michigan's "Basic Drive Improvement Course" (BDIC)?
A Basic Driver Improvement Course (BDIC) serves as a refresher of the basic skills and rules of the road needed to drive safely in Michigan. By passing a BDIC, drivers are given the opportunity to avoid points on their records and increases in insurance premiums while brushing up on their driver safety. Drivers must be eligible to take the program and can only use a BDIC to avoid points on their driving record once.
